Terms of Use

The terms on which we offer this website, our free training material, and the Parkvara Sandbox tool.

Last updated: 19 June 2026

1. About these terms

This website is operated by Parkvara AI ("Parkvara", "we", "us"), an independent technology and consulting firm based in Sydney, Australia. By using this website, our training material, or the Parkvara Sandbox tool (together, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

2. Educational purpose — not professional advice

Our training material and tools are provided for general education. They are not legal, financial, tax, compliance, security, or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice tailored to your situation. Our guiding line is "edge, not guarantee": the material is designed to help you make better-informed decisions — it does not make those decisions for you, and it does not guarantee any particular outcome.

You should confirm anything important against authoritative sources and, where appropriate, seek qualified professional advice before relying on it. AI-related laws, tools, and best practices change quickly; material that was accurate when published may date.

3. Your responsibilities

4. The Parkvara Sandbox tool

The Sandbox runs entirely in your web browser, on your own device. Files you load are processed locally. We do not receive, store, transmit, or have any access to the data you load or the output you generate.

Important — reduce, not remove

The Sandbox produces synthetic data to reduce risk when sharing or testing. This is risk-reduction, not anonymisation. Synthetic data derived from personal information can, in some cases, still be personal information in law. You are responsible for assessing whether the output is appropriate for your intended use and for complying with your own legal and contractual obligations. Do not treat the Sandbox as a guarantee that data is safe to release.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any data you load into the tool.

5. No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations about their accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. You use the Services at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parkvara will not be liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit) arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Services.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited by law, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant Service (or the reasonable cost of doing so).
